My work stems from a persistent need to understand the human condition: its fragility, its strength, its contradictions. I use the figure as a means to explore the intangible—emotions, thoughts, memories, and tensions that traverse the body. The human image—at times fragmented, other times suspended or contained—becomes a surface onto which questions are projected, questions that do not always have answers.
