Cinemática

Cinemática ("Kinematics") is a painting series that explores human movement through the lens of kinetic energy and impulse. Rather than depicting conscious motion, the works focus on moments where the body is propelled by internal or external forces—emotional, physical, or social.

Using dynamic compositions, distortions, and bold contrasts, Osvaldo Sequeira captures the tension of a body in motion, suspended between action and reaction. The series invites viewers to reflect on how much of our movement is driven not by intention, but by impulse.
